Lectures and performative demonstrations of Opera Mecatronica

Åsa and Carl present, together or separately, their work on conferences, special events, inaugurations and festive occasions. 

One of the highlights is the specifically designed ”Opera Mecatronica performance in honour of Stephen Hawking” that was commissioned by KTH Royal Institute of Technology during the visit of Hawking in Stockholm, August 2015.

Another highlight was the eponymous Christmas Party of Spotify in December 2018, where our Vocal Chorder was turned into a sound-spot activation installation – adding beats and atmosphere to the tumultuous party.

Swedish pop singer Robyn created a festival for young people, called Techla. Opera Mecatronica was one of the guests, and we presented our Vocal Chorder installation.
